Dates:
 February 23 - May 18
Registration Deadline:  February 9
Suitability

The Intensive is open to FCM members who have either 1) been practicing on the Dharma or Wisdom Paths, or 2) established a foundation of mindfulness and emotional stability through the practices of our Mindful Living Path and are now prepared to tread more deeply into the Dharma Path of transformation.

Description

Learning to think and act with the mind of an altruistic being is the subject of the text “The Seven Points of Mind Training” (Lojong in Tibetan) and of our next Intensive for both the Dharma and Wisdom Paths. These mind trainings comprise 59 pithy, easily memorized 'maxims' that focus on how the Awakened Mind of an enlightened being can beneficially manifest in all activities of our daily lives. When we learn how an enlightened being perceives all situations, our ability to meet life with intelligence, selflessness, lovingkindness, compassion and understanding is profoundly enhanced. In this Intensive, participants will be guided in understanding these maxims and how to practice them.

    Mentor Groups
When you register, you will also be asked to indicate your preferences  for your bi-weekly Mentor Groups (small groups of 6-8 participants) offered through Zoom. You will be required to score each group as one of the following:

    o   cannot do.

If there is more than one group that will work well for you, please mark all these as “my first choice.” This will provide us with added flexibility in making group assignments.
