Every Wednesday Evening, 6 - 7 pm, Tampa Practice Center
Qigong (pronounced "chee gong") is Chinese yoga and meditation that involves gentle but surprisingly effective ways of moving and caring for the mind and body. It uses low-impact exercises drawn from Daoism, Buddhism, traditional Chinese health practices, and even Asian martial arts traditions. Sessions include 50 minutes of simple warm-up exercises and short movement forms to stretch and condition the body. Appropriate for beginners and people with more experience. This class currently meets on Wednesday evenings 6:00 – 7:00 at the FCM Practice Center in the Lotus Hall, which is in the Education Building.
There is no charge for this class, but donations are gratefully accepted. All are welcome regardless of ability to contribute.
