Planned Giving for FCM
Leave a Lasting Legacy of the Dharma
“When we contemplate our connection and contribution to future generations, what could be more meaningful than a gift that sustains the Dharma, supporting a community dedicated to sharing Buddhist teachings and practices that lead to the cessation of suffering and awakening and to ensure that they are available in a modern and accessible way to all who come.”
Create Your Legacy
Legacy/estate giving that is effective upon your death (commonly referred to as “planned gifts”) is a powerful tool for supporting our sangha’s vision of nurturing awakened individuals, communities, and eventually a world, where principles of loving-kindness, generosity, and selflessness result in global peace, environmental sustainability, and the cessation of suffering for all sentient beings.
By leaving a legacy gift to FCM you are helping to ensure that the meaningful teachings and Dharma activities that you and our fellow sangha members have come to appreciate and benefit from – the days of mindfulness, weekly sangha gatherings, intensives, retreats, special classes, and more – will be available into the future for ourselves and others to come.
Since planned gifts are non-binding, you do not have to be concerned about implications for your personal budget and lifestyle. If your situation changes, you can make adjustments accordingly.
