Wake Up Tampa Bay
Wake Up Tampa Bay is a mindfulness and meditation group for people in their 20s and 30s. We are a group of peers who support each other in our practices of mindfulness and meditation and in leading wholesome, healthy, happy lives.
We take inspiration and guidance from Buddhist teachings and help each other see how we can apply them to our lives. However, this group is open for everyone in our age group, Buddhists and non-Buddhists alike.
In addition to having regular meditations and Dharma discussions, we also enjoy spending time together and touching the nourishing elements that are in us and around us in our Tampa Bay community. Together we learn how to engage with life mindfully and joyfully.
We practice mindful speech and deep listening at all our gatherings to nourish each other and learn to connect with people in a healthy way. We are also mindful of what we consume to help nourish and preserve our health and the planet’s health. All our events are alcohol, tobacco, drug, and animal-product free.
We look forward to meeting and spending time with you.
Gatherings are currently twice a month on Fridays from 7:00 to 8:30 pm EITHER in-person at the Tampa Practice Center OR Online via Zoom (not both).
