We will be celebrating the traditional Buddhist holiday of Vesak on Sunday, May 18th, during our Sunday Meditation at the Tampa Practice Center. Fred will be giving the talk that day on the life of Shakyamuni Buddha, the significance for humankind of the Buddha’s birth, and what it actually means to be a Buddha. The traditional practice of Bathing the Baby Buddha will be held in the garden and all children and adults are welcome to participate. We will then celebrate with tea and birthday cake! If you would like to bring a flower or a bouquet as an offering, please do so. Vases will be available.
