Teachings of Master Hsu Yun
Sangha Talks | August, September 201
Hsu Yun (Empty Cloud) was a highly renowned and revered Chán Buddhist master and one of the most influential Buddhist teachers of the 19th and 20th centuries. He is often noted for his unusually long lifespan, having allegedly lived to age 119. Hsu Yun is most celebrated for his relentless efforts to resurrect Chan in monasteries throughout China, and to offer it directly to anyone who wanted to learn about it, Buddhist clergy and laity alike, as well as non-Buddhists.
In this series, Dharma teacher Fred Eppsteiner shares about the life and profound teachings of Master Hsu Yun. (The first talk in the series was not recorded.)
