The Maxims of Chan Master Han Shan
Sangha Talks | 2010
Chan Master Han Shan (1546 - 1623) was one of the great monks in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1643) in China, and is regarded as one of China's greatest poets. Wherever he went, people clamored for his writings. It is said that those who succeeded in getting him to compose a verse for them treated the lines like a trophy. In this four part series, Dharma teacher Fred Eppsteiner explores teachings from The Autobiography and Maxims of Chan Master Han Shan.
