with Nancy Natilson and Katie McFarland

Why do you eat? Where do you “look” in your body to decide if you are really hungry? And how can you change unwholesome eating habits?

In this four-week in-person series at the Florida Community of Mindfulness' Tampa Center, Nancy and Katie will guide participants in skillfully addressing common challenges and dilemmas we face every day, including:

  • Understanding what mindfulness and self-compassion have to do with our eating patterns
  • Learning to listen to our body's wisdom in order to satisfy our "real" hunger
  • Transforming our relationship with food into one of ease and delight.

We will use the book Mindful Eating by Jan Chozen Bays as our guide for this workshop. This four-week in-person series will begin on Tuesday, January 10, 17, 24 & 31 from 7:00 to 8:30 pm.

The last day to register for this retreat is January 9.

Nancy Natilson has practiced mindfulness and meditation for over 20 years and leads workshops for FCM and international non-profits. A lifetime Weight Watchers member, she loves to cook vegetarian meals and enjoys eating, too!

Katie McFarland, a registered and licensed dietitian in the home healthcare realm, practices mindfulness and meditation. Her passions are her family, health and wellness of body and mind, environmental conservation, and animal rescue.
