The Community Connections Team invites you to a beautiful morning kayak or Nature Walk with Dani Hall. Come and connect with Sangha friends, explore Lake Rogers Conservation Park, share a brown bag lunch on Saturday, November 27, from 9:30 – 12:30 p.m. This is a great time to take this opportunity to socialize with others and build community connections. Additionally, those who would like can join Dani Hall on a guided Nature Walk (beginning around 9:45am) to learn about the ecosystem, birds, etc. Feel free to bring your binoculars to explore this great Florida park together.
Lake Rogers Conservation Park is located at 9010 North Mobley Rd, Odessa, FL 33556. There is a $2.00 entrance fee. We will meet in the main park entrance parking lot.
What to bring? - your own lunch/snacks and water, binoculars if you have them, camp chair, although there are picnic benches. The bugs are not prevalent in fall, but you may choose to have some bug spray or clothing that covers.
It is up to you to wear a mask if wanted, but please note that CDC guidelines do not require a mask outside if you are fully vaccinated and do not have a weakened immune system.
Please register in advance to help with planning and indicate how many guests/friends you might be bringing and if you plan to kayak or walk.
If you have any questions/concerns, feel free to contact Maria Teresa @ firstname.lastname@example.org
See you there!
