On July 21, after Sunday Meditation we will have a Potluck Lunch for FCM members so that we can welcome newer members to our community, get to know each other, and enjoy each other’s food and company. So if you are a member (new or old) please plan to stay for the FCM Member Potluck: Welcoming New Members on Sunday, July 21 from 12:15-1:15 in the Fellowship Hall.
Please register for this event so we know how many tables and chairs to set up. This is an FCM member event and we will be announcing that tea after Meditation that day is cancelled due to a member event. Feel free to bring and register any of your family/friends that will attend Sunday Meditation that day with you. Out of town members are also welcome! What to Bring?
We are now using "Sign Up Genius," an easy-to-use online event tool for you to sign up for what to bring, and get ideas and recipes. After you complete the registration process here on our website, come back to this event description page (linked in our FCM calendar) and you will find the Sign Up Genius link at the bottom of this page to explore options and sign up for what you will bring.
Our theme for this potluck is Indian Cuisine.
In the spirit of ahimsa, which means “to cause no harm,” we want this meal to be plant based (vegan) meaning no meat, eggs or dairy. If plant based cooking is new to you, we hope you will enjoy exploring some new dishes and recipes. And for those of you with busy schedules, there are some items on the signup sheet that you can just stop by the store and pick up. We hope that everyone will participate in this and in making this community potluck a success!
