Our next Movie Night in Tampa will feature Paths of the Soul.  

This beautiful film chronicles the journey of the residents of a Tibetan Village in Nyima on their 1,200 km pilgrimage to Lhasa and its Jokhang Temple, one of the most revered sites of Tibetan Buddhism.  In the film we glimpse the simplicity of human relationships and the nature of family, suffering and resolve as this group of ordinary villagers walk while doing continuous prostrations on this long and incredible journey.  Their inspiring Buddhist devotion and practice is woven into every facet of their lives. The film was written, directed and produced by Chinese filmmaker, Zhang Yang and premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2015. The photography is stunning, as is its rare look at Buddhism in Tibet today.
