Being a teen in today's world can be stressful.  While navigating the pressures of school, friends, and family one often feels upset and stressed. Through mindfulness practices we learn to relax and be more present in the moment. We learn ways to meet the day-to-day challenges of life with more focus, confidence, and ease.

A Half-Day Teen Mindfulness Retreat for teens, ages 13-18, is being offered on November 3 from 1:30 to 4:30 pm. Activities will include sitting and walking mindfulness meditation, mindful movement, and other fun activities aimed at helping you bring mindfulness practices into your daily life.

In order to participate each teen (under 18) will need to provide the facilitators when they arrive with a signed Parent/Guardian Permission Form.  A permission form is required for each Half Day Teen event, whether the teen has participated with us before or not. Click here, to find the Parent/Guardian Permission form to download, print, sign and bring to the retreat. Blank permission forms will be available at the event for parents/guardians to sign.

While this event is free and open to all teens, it is necessary to register in advance to help with our planning and set-up.  Because many people have expressed a desire to make donations online rather than bringing cash or a check, we offer registration options that permit an online donation of $5 or $10. However, please understand that you do not need to make an online donation to register and that we welcome any support you may wish to offer when you arrive. Your generosity in providing a donation for the support of our Practice Center is greatly appreciated.
