Community | Mindful MovementsQigongEvery Wednesday, 6 - 6:50 pm, Tampa Practice Center ![]() Qigong (pronounced "chee gong") is Chinese yoga and meditation that involves gentle but surprisingly effective ways of moving and caring for the mind and body. It uses low-impact exercises drawn from Daoism, Buddhism, traditional Chinese health practices, and even Asian martial arts traditions. Sessions include 50 minutes of simple warm-up exercises and short movement forms to stretch and condition the body. Appropriate for beginners and people with more experience, this class meets on Wednesdays from 6:00 to 6:50 pm at the FCM Practice Center. There is no charge for this class, but donations are gratefully accepted. All are welcome regardless of ability to contribute. |
