Programs | The Naples Sangha - OLThe Naples Sangha (members, non-members, and newcomers in Naples and the greater Southwest Florida area) gather virtually 6:30-8:00 pm on the second and fourth Sundays of the month via Zoom. These gatherings will provide attendees the opportunity for a short meditation together, to share and discuss the teachings and practice of the Dharma, and to establish and re-establish Sangha friendships. Discussions will be based on the current practices and teachings offered at FCM through the Sunday Dharma talks of our teacher, Fred Eppsteiner. At some meetings, Fred will attend via Zoom. At others, following meditation and an overview of the topic, participants will be invited to speak about a topic in the spirit of deep sharing and deep listening, in which we share from the heart and listen with acceptance and complete presence. You will find information about the meeting in Mindfulness Matters the week prior to each gathering. If a Dharma talk is being discussed, listening to the talk in advance is not required for participation, but we encourage you to review it in advance and contemplate its relevance to your own experience. A short summary will also be provided during our gathering, so that everyone can feel free to attend and participate, regardless of whether the talk has been reviewed. If you have not participated in a Zoom program with FCM in the past, please review these guidelines and plan to join the call no later than 6:25 pm, in order to be settled for the start in support of the group.
