The Community Connections Team invites you to a beautiful morning Nature Walk with Dani Hall. Come and connect with Sangha friends and explore the other side of the bay at Sawgrass Lake Park on Saturday, October 30, from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. This is a great time to take this opportunity to socialize with others and build community connections. Additionally, those who would like can join Dani Hall on a guided Nature Walk (beginning around 9:30am) to learn about the ecosystem, birds, etc. Feel free to bring your binoculars to explore this great Florida park together.

Sawgrass Lake Park is located at 7400 25^th St. N., St. Petersburg, FL 33702. There is no entrance fee. We will meet in the parking lot.

What to bring? - your own snacks and water, binoculars if you have them (some will be provided), although the bugs are not prevalent in fall, you may choose to have some bug spray or clothing that covers.

It is up to you to wear a mask if wanted, but please note that CDC guidelines do not require a mask outside if you are fully vaccinated and do not have a weakened immune system.  

Please register in advance to help with planning and indicate how many guests/friends you might be bringing.

Dani Hall

I am a passionate birder, wildlife photographer, gardener, and environmentalist. I have thirty years of wildlife rehabilitation experience and I am the former hospital director for the Seaside seabird sanctuary. I am also an active activist in human, animal, and environmental rights. I am a full time student and just completed research on habitat fragmentation as it relates to birds, and plan to enter into a PhD program this year. We joined FCM in December and have felt incredibly at home with our beautiful sangha. I live in Clearwater with my husband Brent, and our three lovely boys.
