The Naples Sangha (members, non-members, and newcomers in Naples and the greater Southwest Florida area) will now gather virtually 6:30-8:00 pm on the second and fourth Sundays of the month via Zoom. These gatherings will provide attendees the opportunity for a short meditation together, to share and discuss the teachings and practice of the Dharma, and to establish and re-establish Sangha friendships.
Discussions will be based on the current practices and teachings offered at FCM through the Sunday Dharma talks of our teacher, Fred Eppsteiner. Following meditation and an overview of the topic, participants will be invited to speak about the topic in the spirit of deep sharing and deep listening, in which we share from the heart and listen with acceptance and complete presence.
You will find the topic in Mindfulness Matters the week prior to the gathering, so that you might have the opportunity to review the talk we will discuss and contemplate its relevance to your experience. However, a short summary will also be provided during our gathering, so that everyone can feel free to attend and participate, regardless of whether the talk has been reviewed.
If you have not participated in a Zoom program with FCM in the past, please review these guidelines and plan to join the call no later than 6:25 pm, in order to be settled for the start in support of the group.
