Seeing Clearly: The Path Out of Suffering

In this this Daylong Retreat, we will look at how the Buddha's seminal teaching on the Four Noble Truths can awaken and liberate us from the suffering that otherwise burdens our lives. The day will involve sitting and walking mindfulness meditation, Dharma teachings and guided meditations and reflections, opportunities for questions and answers, silent lunch, some lazy time, and mindful movements. Participants are requested to please respect and appreciate noble silence during the duration of the formal activities of the day. An opportunity for sharing and mindful conversation will be provided towards the end of the day.

The Daylong Retreat will be led by Ken Lenington and Angie Parrish, who are leading FCM's current Dharma Path Intensive. The day is open to all, and is appropriate for any experience level.

For your own benefit and the benefit of all, we ask that you plan to remain for the entire day.

While this event is free and open to all practitioners, it is necessary to register in advance to help with our planning and set-up.  Because many people have expressed a desire to make donations online rather than bringing cash or a check to the Daylong Retreat, we offer several registration options that permit an online donation. However, please understand that you do not need to make an online donation to register and that we welcome any support you may wish to offer in our "dana bowl" at the Daylong Retreat itself. Your generosity in providing a donation or "Dana" for the support of our teacher and Practice Center is greatly appreciated.
