History and Description:
The Naples Sangha is a nonsectarian Buddhist meditation and study group that began in 1998 in the living room of our founder and teacher, Fred Eppsteiner. Fred currently offers teaching twice a month in Naples.
Format:
Please arrive about 15 minutes early. Enter the meditation room quietly, remove your shoes, and settle in. At 6:30 p.m. we practice mindfulness sitting meditation for 30 minutes, walking meditation for 15 minutes, sitting/loving-kindness meditation for another 20 minutes, then listen to a Dharma talk or participate in a Dharma discussion.
