Leadership is not about a position at the top of the hierarchy. Everyone can exhibit leadership competencies at all levels of an organization and in their communities.  Great leaders are mindful and emotionally intelligent; they seek to live in full awareness of the situation, of themselves and others.   They inspire through clarity of vision, compassion, and a profound belief in their own and others’ ability to transform their lives, their organizations and their communities.

Workshop Intentions

- Explore mindful leadership competencies;
- Understand the contribution of emotional intelligence to the research and practice of leadership;

- Identify contributions that mindfulness makes to creating and maintaining effective leadership;

- Identify strengths and areas for improvement in personal leadership.
